Cute, right? Well, not everyone thought so.
So what do you do when your way of living is under fire? You douse those flames with a li'l love.
We created the site to publicly reflect the changing face of the American family. According to the 2008 census, 15% of new marriages are interracial. And yet, it still felt rare to see something like the Cheerios ad represented in mainstream culture. Our site proves yes, we do exist, and we live and love (even skydive!) just like other families.
The response has been amazing! Thousands of families and couples have shared their stories and pictures with us.
Thanks to everyone for contributing and spreading the word.
